What property intelligence is
MeasureIQ provides property intelligence to assist contractors with estimating, planning, scheduling, reporting, and project management. Property intelligence may include measurements, property characteristics, parcel information, contractor-created data, project history, and publicly available mapping information.
The goal is simple: give a contractor an accurate picture of a property before they quote the work, so homeowners get realistic pricing and fewer surprises on the job.
What MeasureIQ is not
MeasureIQ is not a surveillance platform. MeasureIQ does not:
- Monitor properties in real time;
- Access private security cameras;
- Record audio or video from private property;
- Collect information from inside homes or buildings;
- Track homeowners;
- Perform government surveillance;
- Sell homeowner information.
Where property data comes from
Property information may be generated from one or more of the following sources:
- Publicly available aerial imagery;
- Public parcel records;
- GIS information;
- Government property records;
- Satellite imagery;
- Contractor-created measurements;
- User-entered project information;
- Third-party mapping providers;
- Customer-provided information.
Measurements generated inside MeasureIQ are estimates unless otherwise verified by the user. Users remain responsible for confirming measurements before purchasing materials or beginning construction.
Who owns the data
Contractors own the customer information they enter into MeasureIQ. MeasureIQ does not claim ownership of customer lists, estimates, invoices, photographs, notes, or contractor-created measurements. Users may export their data at any time where supported, and may request deletion through the Data Deletion workflow.
How the data is protected
Customer information is encrypted during transmission and while stored. MeasureIQ follows industry best practices for authentication, access control, and secure storage, and every organization’s data is isolated at the database layer. Only authorized users may access organization data.
Responsible use
MeasureIQ is designed exclusively for legitimate business purposes. Users agree not to use the platform for harassment, stalking, surveillance, discrimination, or unlawful activity. Accounts that misuse property intelligence may be suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service.

Property intelligence is intended to assist business operations. Measurements, parcel information, and mapping data should be verified before construction, engineering, permitting, surveying, or legal use. MeasureIQ is not a licensed surveying platform and its output does not replace a survey, engineering review, or legal determination of property boundaries.
Frequently asked questions
- How does MeasureIQ obtain measurements?
- Measurements are produced from publicly available aerial and satellite imagery, public parcel and GIS boundaries, and measurements a contractor draws or records themselves in the app or in the field. Nothing is captured from inside a home or building.
- Does MeasureIQ monitor my property?
- No. MeasureIQ does not monitor properties in real time and does not track homeowners. It organizes information a contractor needs for a specific job, at the moment they need it.
- Does MeasureIQ use security cameras?
- No. MeasureIQ never accesses private security cameras and never records audio or video from private property.
- Does MeasureIQ sell my information?
- No. MeasureIQ does not sell homeowner information. Customer records belong to the contractor who entered them and are used to deliver the services that contractor provides.
- Can contractors edit measurements?
- Yes. Measurements are estimates until verified. Contractors can review, adjust, and confirm any measurement, and the change history is retained on the property record.
- Where does property data come from?
- From public parcel records, government property records, GIS datasets, aerial and satellite imagery, third-party mapping providers, contractor-created measurements, user-entered project information, and information a customer provides directly.
- Is my information secure?
- Yes. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per organization at the database layer, and reachable only by authorized users in that organization. MeasureIQ follows industry best practices for authentication, access control, and secure storage.
